Fairview achieves highest ACT scores in BVSD

By Katie Steen in Student News

According to Boulder Hometown Weekly, high school Juniors in Boulder Valley School District are continuing to top the state ACT scores, this year gaining an average composite score of 23 versus Colorado's 19.9. Soaring even higher is Fairview, at a composite score of 25.8 in Spring of 2011, the highest of all high schools in the district. Fairview has made a two-point gain from 2010, and it seems as though Fairview students are continuing to rise above and beyond District and State standards. Other schools that were able to raise their scores by two-points over the last year include Boulder's Arapahoe Ridge and Lafayette's Centaurus High.
