Cason McHose is an energetic junior at Fairview High school. During his first semester of freshman year he found a love for journalism, particularly sports. It was a very simple decision for him to fill an elective slot writing for the Royal Banner. McHose is funny, corky, nice, and has loads of energy. He has one sibling and has lived in Colorado for his entire life. He especially enjoys sleeping, hanging with friends and eating junk food.
As a freshman McHose played Varsity and Junior Varsity golf, he plans only to improve his skills this season and to qualify for the state tournament. He aims to be a straight “A” student and ride either an athletic or academic scholarship into a great college. McHose plans to letter for golf, have a great time, stay focused on school,  and make new friends.
As a first year staff writer McHose plans to make the paper more exciting and fun to read. Although his strong suit is sports he believes that along with the energetic staff can make this the most popular paper yet. He will try to input his ideas and select skills in any ways he can. McHose’s main goal is to inform sports fanatics on all things athletic at Fairview, a part of the Royal Banner that he has seen many weaknesses in throughout the past. He believes the future for this paper has no where to go but forward from now on.
