This last Tuesday, May 15th 2012, Marco the tortoise, a class pet, was taken from room 420. Rebecca Roetto, a biology teacher, was in the room most of the day and cannot understand how the tortoise was taken.

Alex Petroy, a sophomore who donated Marco to the school this year, is appalled that a high school student would think to steal a tortoise. “It’s kind of weird. I’m disappointed someone would come to school and take a tortoise,” says Alex.

Roetto was also troubled by the disappearing tortoise. “I’m not totally mad, I would just really appreciate if whoever took it would bring it back to us.”

If any information arises about the tortoise and its whereabouts, please go to the biology room, number 420.
